Iridium offers a wide range of expiry periods, so no matter your satellite communication need, we have something for you. Pre-Paid plans are perfect for seasonal/short-term use or for those on a fixed budget.
Dial +2888 (or 002888 will also work) on your Iridium phone and press the green key.
To receive a SMS message with your prepaid balance, send a blank SMS message to +2888 (002888). The Iridium system will respond with the number of remaining ISU-PSTN minutes in the account, the days until the account expires, and the date and the time (GMT) of the expiration in English.

Short Burst Data
Iridium Short Burst Data® (SBD®) is a simple and efficient network transport capability for transmitting short data messages between equipment and centralized host computer systems. It is integrated by Iridium’s Value-added Resellers into vertical market applications in industries such as Oil and Gas, Rail, Maritime, Aeronautical, Utilities and Government/Military. This allows the user to monitor everything from ships to trucks to planes. Another common use for these devices is GPS tracking.

Iridium Certus® services are provided through Iridium Connected® equipment to support broadband and midband voice and data capabilities for ships, vehicles, aircraft, and IoT devices. One terminal can deliver a range of services from multiple high-quality voice lines to the highest throughput L-band data speeds available, allowing simultaneous operations for business efficiency.
